Women's Herbal Symposium

  • Black Oak Ranch Laytonville, CA (map)

Pediatric Care in Chinese Medicine

Demonstration of Sho ni shin:  the Japanese form of acupuncture and acupressure in babies and children, massaging the meridians and using essential oils at the proper dilution for common imbalances.

The NADA Protocol

Experience auricular acupuncture in a safe setting.  NADA was originally developed as a 5 point needle protocol for aiding in extreme stress, trauma, PTSD, addiction, co-dependency, arrythmias (heart imbalance), and recovery. Each participant can receive needles and feel the effects directly. A nervine tea will also be provided and an explanation of the herbs discussed.

Self Care for Teens:  Part 1 and 2:  A Making Workshop

In this class we will circle and focus on everyday self care practices that are simple, don't cost a lot, and are deeply nourishing.  My intention is to empower you to try these at home on your own and share with friends after the symposium.

We will drink tea, make and eat some herbal snacks, craft and herbal strawberry honey masque and each of you will create a personalized essential oil roll-on remedy to take home.
