Pediatrics is one of the oldest specialties in Chinese Medicine with specific diagnostics and treatments designed to address children’s needs. Chinese Medicine strengthens the developing immune system and often gives children the push they need to deal with illness on their own. Children are much simpler than adults and since their disharmonies are usually much more obvious and straight forward they have been found to respond well to this very gentle, non-invasive and safe medicine. In addition, Chinese Medicine works incredibly well where antibiotics and other Western methods do not, and it always works well in conjunction with Western Medicine. If imbalances can be cleared up in childhood, the way will be paved to a much healthier adulthood.
