Conscious Herbalism. Connecting Acupuncturists to the Source. Where do your herbs come from? How to grow your own medicine. This class focus on sourcing and the live plant. I will bring in herbal plants and a variety of medicine: tinctures, glycerites, essences, creams, salves and oils for a show and tell. Herbs include ashwagandha, pokeweed, plantain, cleavers, passionflower, valerian, st. john’s wort, gynostemma, marshmallow, comfrey, skullcap, gardenia (zhi zi), pulsatilla (bai tou weng), vitex, valerian, yarrow, lavender, calendula, hawthorne, holy basil, motherwort, California poppy, astragalus, dang gun, Shan Yao, dang Shen, jin yin hua and Chinese mugwort. Raising consciousness around what companies we support and where our medicine comes from. United Plant Savers at Risk List will be distributed.
